Voytek the Bear are an alternative rock band formed in Manchester, UK. They are John Callaghan, Dave Leonard, Dan Merryweather and Pete Robinson.

Forming from the odds and ends of several different bands in the early 2000s, Voytek the Bear have a musical style that has been compared to the stoner-madchester bands of the late 80s, the fuck/rock Californian trio Primus and the punk/reggae band The Police.

They site influences from all the above, along with Queens of the Stone Age, De Facto and The Bees to name but a few.
